Becoming a volunteer is simple. It's all about giving your time to do something helpful, without getting paid

In return you get great satisfaction that your time and effort have been well spent. Also volunteering can be a great way to meet new people, gain useful experience, learn new skills, it should also be fun!

The variety of opportunities is enormous. Whatever skills and experience you have, there is something that you can do.

There are no age-limits on volunteering, but there can sometimes be difficulties for people under-16 or over-65, mostly for insurance reasons. If you have any concerns, just ask!
