Richard Bostock

Richard Bostock

Richard Bostock has a wide range of expertise in both commercial organisations and social enterprises.  As well as being a non-executive director of E-Net he advises and mentors a number of existing and start up social enterprises. 

In this area he has developed and implemented a range of important solutions including full cost recovery systems; strategy development ; board restructuring; board training and corporate governance guidance; designing structures to suit the purpose of the organisation; funding structures and advice on bids and tendering processes.

This is all supported by on-going work with the Institute of Directors on their Director Development Programme and work with several universities on Masters programmes support for small and growing enterprises.

In earlier years he spent time teaching disabled children to ski with the British Disabled Ski Association.

 

 


Vice Chair

Paul Evans B.A., M.A.

Paul Evans

Paul is currently a Commercial Development Manager with Mencap and his role is to develop tenders with Local Authorities and PCTs, assess the market, project management and promote new types of service delivery in the social care field.

With over 30 years experience in the field of learning disability Paul has been involved in  the creation of social enterprises as an Assistant Director of Integrate, a small voluntary sector organisation in Preston.

His range of experience includes accessing funding, including ESF, ERDF, LSC, National Lottery and statutory contracts.

As a previous Chair of E. Net and founder member of the organisation 13 years ago, he was successful in winning a Department of Work and Pensions New Deal for Disabled People contract for partner organisations in E.Net.

Paul has developed a broad range of skills in the third sector including working with a wide range of partners in all sectors.


Peter Bradbury

Peter Bradbury

Peter joined has recently taken up the post of Chief Officer at Eden Community Outdoors, that focuses on youth provision accross Cumbria. Previously Peter worked for Mencap and headed up the Quality Assurance/compliance dept of the Education and Employment Business Unit (EEBU). Part of Mencap’s senior management team (EEBU).

Formally the Operations Director with The Oaklea Trust since 1998, from a background in marketing and leisure management Paul  Graduated from the University Of Central Lancashire with a specialist interest/background in coaching disabled athletes, more recently, specialising in supported employment services, supported living services and registered care homes for over 10 years.
 

 


Andrea Crook

Andrea Crook

Andrea attended Myerscough College where she studied Horticulture for four years. On completion she gained employment at Piccadilly Garden in Lancaster as their plant centre instructor supporting people with a learning disability to run a retail outlet on site.

Andrea then moved into the training department where she trained and assessed various levels of courses and became the internal verifier for both Piccadilly and other colleges.

After a restructure at Piccadilly garden Andrea was employed as the assistant Manager and Pay provision officer so had overall responsibility for the horticultural services and for the social services contract for day time supports.

Within the last 2 years Andrea became the Manager and has more focus on the strategic planning of our business.

Andrea has good hands on knowledge of working with a variety of people and 12 years of experience in working for a charity.
